Me and the universe.

So I'm feeling like the world is against me going home to Australia this summer.
We had done two Space A flights before and they have been a cake walk. Well not this time around, either no seats or seats and a boat load of people.

The only kinda good point is that i have been able to get a lot of sewing and sorting done in my sewing room. Got a pretty good jump start on Christmas presents.

Still Here........

So Wednesday nights flight was a bust.
I start sewing a bag for the flight and just got it done before the first roll call, since then I have added........

A Stash and Dash toiletry bag.

A purse organizer

A diaper and wipes case, but it's to wide so it will be used to carry all our passports and documents, so this evening I need to make another diaper case. Oh yeah and a cloth shopping bag too.

And here it all is together.

Still in Hawaii.

Yep we got bumped again. Four seats and 11 people wanting them. But I did find out that there is another flight going mid week, YEAH. I hope we get on that one, this is turning out to be really frustrating.
I didn't get half the things done yesterday I wanted to, but today is another day.

D Day again.

So this post will be up date as I get stuff done today.
We are suppose to fly to Oz tonight depending on the availability of Space A flights.
I need to finish my nieces dresses ( yes Bobbi, last minute again, but would it be me if it wasn't?)
Post pic's of a few thing's I have made. Clean up the sewing room so I can give Joe a larger staging area for his uniforms and crap. [He's at Sgt's course, and doing pretty good, just feeling sore hehehe].
Ummmmm that's all I can think of now.

My New Toy.

So I got another machine last night.
She needs a bit of TLC, but she goes and is all metal, yeah.
So here she is.


The Lady I got it from, it was her Grandmothers who was
a seamstress. Got the feeling that she didn't want to sell it,
But her hubby did. I told her it would be well loved and used.
I may have to get a few parts, but I have looked on ebay and they wont put me in the poor house.

Long sad night.

We moved Sissy's crib in with Boo Girl last night....
She was not a happy camper, screamed for ever, it broke my heart, but the worst was going to bed and she was no longer at the end of the bed.
It's given up a huge amount of room but my baby girl is not in my room anymore.
And we woke up really early and didn't not want to go back to bed, but big Sis stayed asleep. YEAH

As a side note Joe started Sargent course today, thank god. So keep everything crossed for us.

Oh yeah we didn't fly on Saturday, the plane was to full, all cargo no passengers. So hopefully this Saturday.

Water fall at Malabey

I should have posted this last night.

I'm going to start this with I tend to wander off the subject when I get mad and I am furious!!!
We live in a townhouse with a townhouse attached on one side and a disable unnit on the other and an appartment over the garage.
Our neighbour's in the apartment left , they handed the apartment over early this morning. We got a new kitchen last week (), and they start on the upstairs apartment some time today. Well they didn't shut the water off properly, I took the trash out this evening and heard what sounded like a waterfall in their garage.
Sent Dh out to see if he could hear it while I called it in (DD2 has been waking up at 2 the last could of nights so I though it might be good to have someone else check, lack of sleep and all that), yep he heard it. Our old neighbours came by to say goodbye, held us find the shut off for the appartment. When the maintence guy came it was running out the light.
My sewing room is in the garage, which flooded, thank god I picked up all the fabric I had on the floor and once we realized what was happening unplugged my machines and got all cords and foot peddles up.
So I was not to bad at this point till I was about to lock up for the night and my living room carpet is wet. I had paper work in a small closet between the garage and living room it's trashed. And I can't express how I feel to the people for need to hear it till tomorrow. Oh and the no sewing slump I have been in lifted I was all happy about sewing after getting the girls to bed tonight.
Can it be Saturday tomorrow PLEASE.

To Do....

So I want to try and get a few more things do here before going to go and visit with my family.
I need to make
*Mrs Sewnson her teachers gift, she is the sub for the last month of this year.
*Mrs Smith teachers gift.
*a hand bag for me.
*a travel bag.
*some place mats.

I need to post a box for Ashely, my butt Ugly fabric hehehe.
Post off Ryanne's box.
Ummmmm that's all I can thing of now.


It's 9:59 am and I have done:
*A load of washing, the dishes from last night (I know slack but that's life).
*Posted Ryanne's package, yeah.
*Took some of the toys we are getting rid of to Joe's work for a guy to look at, and he's taking them
*did 3 phone calls to tricare to so shit out. Oh joy.
