The Play Room Throw up.

Before....
but wait there's more...

Then after much swearing, muttering, bribing Joe to let things go, wishing I had taken this on drunk, wishing I had a maid to pick up after my husband, asking Boo what was ok to give to the Thrift store (her response was much better than Joe's), we end up with this.

It will never get like that again, will get ride of Joe first, hehehe.
And one last beautiful girl pic.

Aikahi Fun Fair.

So today the school is having it's annual Fun Fair, oh joy.
I'm making mini brownies at the moment for it cause I didn't want to do it after coming home from dinner at friends last night. Buster is looking at me like I'm nuts. What can I say he knows me well.

Ok so I just went and got the first batch of "mini" brownies out, thank goodness I didn't do this last night I would have burnt my self and been super ticked that they didn't turn out. So one batch off bite size and normal batch.

We didn't stay long, it was hot and Boo really should not have gone on any of the bounce houses.

Boo had a ball. She also started the butterfly crazy.

A Few Things I have Made

Here are the Tink Pillows I made for Boo, nothing too flash but she loves them and that's all that counts.

This is the Birdie Sling I made Trisha, and the shopping bags I made for them too. And the real shocker is I finished them all at least five days before the packers came to move them.

Sea Life Park.

Today we went to Sea Life Park with Boo's class. There were 4 adults plus the teacher and sixteen kids. I had 5 girls in my group.

The girls had fun, and were as well behaved as 5 six years old at a park can be.
It rained a bit and was really hot in the bus on the way home but over all we had a ball.

The dolphin show was great,
they also had the cutest penguins.

The Sea Lion show was great too, the did a take off of Miss Universe, cute.

I did want a drink by the end of the trip. I may never take a school bus anywhere ever again. I stayed for the last 45 minutes of school and helped Boo's teacher out by listening to the kids read. Glutton for punishment, yep, but I love hearing how much they are improving each week.

New Kitchen. YEAH

So all of 802 housing is getting face lifts, hehehehe.
We got bigger water heaters and solar panels earlier this year and now we are getting new kitchens.

Ok so it's just a little bit wider but trust me it makes a huge difference.

Arrrrrrrrr MEN.

WTF. We are getting an new kitchen put in. Earlier this afternoon DH and I talked about what needed to be done when the girls were asleep. So I put both girls to sleep, as DH is still watching TV, finish sewing Boo's Tink pillow (pic's tomorrow). Put Sissy back to sleep, snuggle with Boo and then I start to pack up the kitchen. He's still watching TV, even comes into the kitchen while I'm packing away stuff. When I say something he goes in and watches some more TV while turning it off.

My Creations.

Here are a few pic's of things I have sewn lately.
Shopping bag's for Mrs Smith, Boo's teacher.

What will it fit?
I stuffed it full of......

Peanut Butter!!!!

I CAN'T STAND THE STUFF.

So of course,

What a weird day.

Sooooooo how do you rate a day?

By the joy of seeing your neighbours rug out in the trash, cause that means it won't be left out in the rain for weeks on the back fence we share. Which is right opposite a church.

Or by the joy of being asked "can you see my nipples through this shirt?". Answering said question only to be continuely asked the same question over half an hour, answering it politely, being sarcastic, then being blunt (which I can be quiet good at), and then by out right saying you need to wear a bra!!!

And that was all before 9:30am.

It did get better, I got to listen to Sissy's nap strike on the baby monitor. She laughed, she cried, pretended to sneeze, and talked to the fairies. So is so stinking cute.

I left my flipping ID at home and nearly was not let back on base after picking up Boo from school, that could have been fun, we had a little friend of hers we were dropping home. Now that would have been an interesting call.

Then dinner was a wonderful family event, which wound up with me having a wine cooler at 8:10 when everyone but me and the dog were in bed. Joe doesn't feel well. Leaving that alone for now.

So here's to tomorrow, a new day, let the light shine in and we all just get along.
(Hey I enjoyed that wine cooler dang it!)

24 Hour Duty.

So yep Joe had duty on a Sunday, not his duty mind you. And because he has to be the good guy he didn't take any money for it. I'm not a happy camper.
I was so sick on Friday night I was in bed by 3pm that afternoon and didn't get out till 7:30 the next morning, a fricking record on my behalf, and goes to show how shitty I felt.
So in the middle of that he tells me another married marine had duty, swears he told his wife and she through a fit. So Joe takes it for a fricking subway sandwich. SERIOUSLY
What they don't tell you about 24 hour duty is it's more like 48, cause they are useless the next day.
So cause some other women throws a fit, I'm left high and dry for me and my girls weekend....
Oh joy...

Another Day in Paradise.

The sleep Gods are mad at me I'm sure. I can't seem to get any sleep pattern going, random good nights followed but really bad ones. And I can't take anything cause the flipping hose could burn down and Joe wouldn't bat an eye lid.
So the day started with no sleep, a friend who is going through quiet a bit wanted to hang out.
He canceled. The washer is leaking and housing is replacing it tomorrow, and the downstairs loo wouldn't flush. Housing annoyed the heck out of me by trying to say that we had another one. Yeah that works with a 6 year old and a broken arm. After we "talked", it got fixed today. So tomorrow starts off with the washer being replaced. Then we are off to go and see about MAC flights to Aus.

Umm so this has been going well.

Sooooo I thought I would be able to keep on top of things. I know silly girl.

I survived tax season as a tax agent for H&R Block. I was an eye opener for sure.

Right as the season ended both girls broke there arms...
Kayleen did it much better than Alyssia though. She flew off Joe"s back, over the otter man and landed wrong. broke her elbow, had surgery/pins. Two weeks later Alyssia fell backwards off a chair, while I was at work again and broke her wrist. We took her up to Castle hospital who sent us home that night, no x rays, said she had sprained it and she was fin cause she was using it. No to impressed, did a follow up with her Dr the next day. Dr Tan took one look at it and sent us to x ray, we were up at Tripler and in the casting room before I could blink. So both girls have matching pink casts. Lovely right....

This week is the first week I don't have appointments every single day, and actually feel like I can get things done. Rather scary but I have cleaned the playroom, vacuumed all of down stairs and mopped the floors and I'm still looking for thins to do.
Well off I go.
