Wishes and Good Intentions.

Sooo I had all the best intentions in the world to do everything better this year.
So far not to good but no where near as bad as last year.
I have decided that I'm going to learn all my machines better this year, and learn more slow cooker recipes.

Oh boy, nearly a year.

It's been nearly a year since I decide I was going to do better at posting.
And we can all see how that worked out....
SO I'm not going to list all I was going to do but just start as I mean to go on.

I have been knitting like mad. I will defiantly be able to get more than 12 items made this year. (Also hoping to sew more this year too.)
So here is some of what I have done.


I have another pair of sleepers but the turn out awful and I won't post them, also there are two other scarves but I still need to press and take there photo's.

The girls are growing like weeds.

And are looking more and more like beautiful little ladies.

Name Change......

Have decided a name change was in order.

Soooo much has changed.

The reason for the change in title. It's how I feel.
I spend all day running around like a headless chook. Some day's I make it, actually get done what I need to, others I'm doing a great impression of a duck. Feet going like mad while the top everything looks fine. So heres to all the other ducks and chooks running around out there.

A Mother of a day...........

Yesturday was mothers day. It was ok, but I couldn't enjoy it.
My boy is in hospital.
C got sick over a week ago and has been in hospital for about 6 days.
It had been going ok, but now it's not looking good anymore.
His fever has been either over 99 or higher and his galdbladder is now looking like it will have to be removed.
I hate not being able to do more.
I know that Joe and I being here and looking after the other two is a huge help but I need to feel like we are doing more or anything.
When is it our turn to get a break...
Seriously it needs to be our turn to get a break.

So we moved!!!!!!

I don't know why I have been so awful about tell/writting about the move..



It's over and done with Joe is out of the Marines and we are in Troy New York.....

It is awesome to be with my sister from another mother, we have fallen right back into step, great for us, and probably rather unnerving for the men, oh well that's life.



I'm loving seeing the girls playing with there cousins. Boy is it funny, so far apart but still able to pick up like the S family left yesturday.



NY weather has been interesting (bloody cold) but it is supppose to be perfect for Easter.



Boo will be starting school right after Spring break and SHE will be going 5 days a week. YEAH.

Our Not So Big Wave

We had a Tsunami scare this weekend.

I spent a lot of the morning running around the neighbourhood checking on my neighbours. Cleaned the house (apparently the learned behaviour from Mum stuck.), you need a clean house if your stuck in the house or close to home anyway.

Bobbi trecked up Radar Hill, sat up there with what seem like half the base, waiting to get some cool pictures, and it was a non event for us. Thankfully!!!!!
Oh yeah our house is in a safe zone of Tsunami's. Would love to know how they figured that one out. But anyway, all we got was a clean house and a headache for me. Oh joy.

Duck Behaviour

So I feel like a Duck at the moment. Cool and calm on the top of the water but my leg's are going like egg beaters under the water. Lord this whole not knowing anything sucks.

I made a promise with a friend, the lovely Miss Kim, yesturday. She is going to her P90x this coming week and I'm doing my 10 minute trainer. I'm hoping it will help me with my stress levels. I'm so tired of being strung out with stress.

Knitting is not help anymore and I don't want to sew, I have how ever cleaned my sewing room and donated a boat load of fabric to Goodwill. I feel somewhat better about coming back here now.

Hopefull we should know something on Monday, lord I hope so.
